Every month it’s a different surprise in the book box. Love all the Canadian products and more. I look forward to seeing what’s in the box and reading my new book .
Loved everything about my indulge box.
I cannot wait for my next box to arrive.
The yummy treats and self care items are truly amazing.
I was not as impressed as I thought I would be. I paid $101.70 for a box, I received 1 book, and a few small items. In my opinion, I don’t feel that the value of what I paid was there. I do not think I will purchase again, as I can get more books and more items from other Canadian book box companies for a lesser price.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the box didn't meet your expectations.
I did want to clarify a couple of points for anyone reading your review. The amount you mentioned ($101.70) includes taxes, so the box itself was $80 including shipping before tax. The retail value of the items you received + shipping cost was approximately $103, which is already higher than the purchase price—and that doesn't include the cost of packaging, the labour involved in creating each box, or the many behind-the-scenes business expenses.
I completely understand that value is subjective, and every subscription box has a different approach. While some companies may include a larger number of items, that doesn't necessarily mean the products are of the same quality or sourced in the same way. We focus on new release books and supporting Canadian small businesses with premium products, and we know that style isn't the right fit for everyone.
I genuinely appreciate you giving us a try, and while I'm sorry we weren't the right fit for you, I wish you all the best in finding a subscription that better matches what you're looking for.
Loved the box! Each time I receive it, can't help but notice that each one is crafted with care and getting more and more creative
Oh my goodness that little doggo face in there gave me the biggest smile today! THANK YOU!
The books were great. However, sad to say that the snacks were horrible. After having seen additional posts, I wish I had ordered the Coast to Coast box!
Thank you for your feedback! We’re so happy to hear you loved the books. 💜
We’re sorry the snacks weren’t to your personal taste! One of the tricky parts of curating subscription boxes is that tastes are so subjective, and it’s nearly impossible to choose items that every single person will love every single month - but we sure try! We try to include a fun variety of Canadian-made products, knowing that some will be huge hits for some customers and perhaps not favourites for others.
It sounds like our Coast to Coast Crate caught your eye afterward — maybe that one will be a better fit for you in the future! Thank you for giving this box a try and for sharing your feedback.
One of the best book boxes I’ve gotten hands down. Every item seemed thoughtfully put together and it wasn’t like a cheap assortment of random things you’d never use again. Plus it was on theme with the box. Loved it!
This is my favourite book subscription box that I've ever had. As long as I have money and am alive, I will be a subscriber. Please never stop making boxes!!
I love the variety of items in each box. The care taken to thoughtfully create a colour theme also adds to the beautiful presentation upon opening. Thank you!
I've been getting these boxes for over a year. It's nice to receive something each month that's just for me to sit down and relax. Curated beautifully with canadian made products. Worth every penny.
I love getting a new book every month and all the little surprises that come with it! Thank you for creating such a fun subscription box.
Lovely treat
I've been a subscriber for years now and always look forward to getting my book box. Always a great selection of items, whether you get a mini or regular sized box, and always a great selection of books. I love that it's Canadian also!
I loved everything in this most recent box as well as in past boxes. I appreciate the Canadian content and will often look up the companies to see some of their other products. I plan to continue to subscribe to future boxes with my only restriction being whether or not I can afford it. Thank you for putting such wonderful and exciting boxes together each month. Your time and care is very much appreciated!!
Arrived in a timely manner and was packaged beautifully as usual. Included some great surprises, my book selection and my favourite bookmark. The items in this box weren’t as as impressive as some other boxes but I’ll still use them. Look forward to my next box!
